1.General

1.1 The following terms and conditions govern the use of the website gloriousgrandchildren.co.uk (referred to below as 'Glorious Grandchildren' or 'Website'), a company registered in England and Wales. Glorious Grandchildren is a website containing services and information for Users of the Website.

1.2 A User of the Website means any person who visits the Website and/or registers for Membership and becomes a Member and/or uses the communication possibilities offered on the Website.

1.3 Glorious Grandchildren reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time. It is the User's responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions and check them for modifications. By using the Website after modifications of the Terms and Conditions of Use the User agrees to the modified Terms and Conditions of Use.

2.Glorious Grandchildren's responsibilities and limitations

2.1 Glorious Grandchildren does not read or screen each and every item of content provided by Users and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of content. Glorious Grandchildren is not obliged to check content for its lawfulness prior to publishing it and does not take responsibility for any harm, direct or indirect, that could result from the use or abuse of information available on the Website.

Claims arising from the deletion of such content, disabling access to it or the temporary or permanent exclusion of Membership are precluded.

2.4 Glorious Grandchildren will as far as possible secure and uphold the services but take no responsibility for loss or distortion of data or information supplied through the Website. Glorious Grandchildren cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or authorized encroachment, destruction or distortion of information or resources on the Members pages, Glorious Grandchildren's website or other Services.

2.5 Glorious Grandchildren does not take responsibility for the comments or entries in the discussion forum. Glorious Grandchildren urges any Member who finds content in the discussion forum offensive to immediately contact Glorious Grandchildren so the material can be considered for deletion as soon as possible.

2.6 In order to maintain the Services and to ensure that members abide by the Terms and Conditions of Use, Glorious Grandchildren possess the right, but does not have an obligation, to examine information and data that Members communicate or publish via the Services. Glorious Grandchildren reserve the right to delete parts of material that Glorious Grandchildren regard as offensive, material that does not conform to our ethics or conflicts with national and international law.

3.User responsibilities

3.1 A User is responsible for the content they submit, post or otherwise make available via the Website. By making content available on the Website the User represents and warrants that such content is not confidential or illicit and they have the necessary permission to submit, post or otherwise make available such content. Illicit content includes content that infringes public decency, an individual's privacy or third-party intellectual or industrial property rights, particularly copyrights, trademark rights, and personal rights.

3.2 The user indemnifies Glorious Grandchildren from any third-party claims that may arise from the infringement of third-party rights by illicit content provided by the User.

3.3 User may not use the Site to engage in any commercial activity without prior written permission from Glorious Grandchildren or collect email addresses or other contact information of other Users for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or communications.

4. Membership/Registration

4.1 Only one (1) Membership is permitted per individual. In the event of Glorious Grandchildren becoming aware that an individual has registered several Memberships, this individual will be asked to immediately delete all Memberships except for the first registered Membership. The elimination of the other Memberships should take place within two (2) weeks from the date the individual received a message from Glorious Grandchildren on this matter, or the Member may be eliminated from the Membership without further notice.

4.2 Any individual wishing to become a Member of Glorious Grandchildren is obliged to register a username as well as a valid email address and any other information Glorious Grandchildren requests. A Member may not impersonate any person or entity whether actual or fictitious, or misrepresent themselves or their age or affiliation with any person or entity.

4.3 It is a prerequisite of Membership that the Member approves the Terms and Conditions of Use. The Member is urged to read the Terms and Conditions of Use on a regular basis as they are subject to change.

4.4 By registering, the Member approves Glorious Grandchildren's privacy policy. This concerns any information collected at the point of registration as well as the information the Member has chosen to publish in any of the Services.

4.5 The Member can at any time terminate their Membership by sending an email to membership@gloriousgrandchildren.co.uk. At the point of termination of a Membership, all information regarding this Member will be deleted apart from information that has previously been published in a discussion, comments in other members' guest books or blogs. Statistical traces left by a Member such as voting results, competitions or other members' visitors list will not be erased immediately but as soon as possible.

5. The Members responsibilities and obligations

5.1 A Member is responsible for ensuring their Membership is not abused and the Services offered by their Membership are not used by a third party. The Member is obliged to immediately report other Members' infringements of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

5.2 A Member may not transfer their Membership to a third party.

6. Notice period and Validity

6.1 A Membership is ongoing. A Member can terminate their Membership by contacting membership@gloriousgrandchildren.co.uk with the following information: username and email address.

6.2 In the event of a Member abusing the Services by not fulfilling their obligations according to the Terms and Conditions of Use, Glorious Grandchildren reserve the right to immediately terminate the individual's Membership and the information relating to that Member will be deleted. Glorious Grandchildren has the right to demand damages on the basis of the Member's abuse or the Members' actions should these conflict with the Terms and Conditions of Use.

6.3 Glorious Grandchildren reserves the right to terminate a Membership if the Member has not been using the Services for at least 12 months.

7. Images

Since it is easy to abuse images published on the Internet, Glorious Grandchildren have chosen not to make facilities available for the posting and publishing of images by individual Members.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1 Glorious grandchildren is committed to Users' privacy and to the privacy and safety of children. By using this Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Glorious Grandchildren's Terms and Conditions of Use. Whenever you submit information via this website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8.2 Glorious Grandchildren may collate statistical data to assess trends about Website usage such as how many Users are accessing the site, the number of Members and the average number of grandchildren Members have. The information collected will be used for administration purposes and to coordinate offers or activities with Glorious Grandchildren's partners. In certain circumstances Glorious Grandchildren may transfer this collated information to partners.

8.3 Other than the circumstances listed above, information provided by Users by this site will not be shared by Glorious Grandchildren with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• when disclosure is required or permitted by law such as to government bodies and law enforcement agencies;

9.2 A User is not permitted to reproduce, duplicate, copy, republish or commercially exploit content from the Website without our written permission.

9.3When a User submits, posts or otherwise makes available any material on this Website, the User grants to Glorious Grandchildren an irrevocable perpetual fully sub-licensable royalty-free worldwide license to reproduce, modify, distribute and communicate such to the public via the Website or any other form of media.

10. Sexual exploitation of children

Glorious Grandchildren dissociates itself from all forms of sexual exploitation of children. By sexual exploitation of children we refer to child prostitution, child pornography, sexual abuse of children and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes. If any Member should use Glorious Grandchildren to promote sexual exploitation of children in any form, this Member will be suspended and reported to the police.

11.General

11.1These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire agreement between Glorious Grandchildren and Users in respect of the use of this Website.

11.2The failure or delay of Glorious Grandchildren to exercise any right set out in these Terms and Conditions of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right.

11.3In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Use is found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then that provision shall be deleted and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

11.4Glorious Grandchildren may assign any or all of its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions of Use.

11.5These Terms of Use will be governed in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
