Spending time with you is, of course, the best present you can give to your grandchildren! However there are occasions when a gift will be highly appreciated, but you don't always have to spend lots of money or buy something new. There are high quality second-hand toys and clothes available, and not only from charity shops. On internet sites such as Preloved or Gumtree you can buy great gifts at reduced prices. It is also worth considering supporting your grandchild's parents with some extra support towards education and extra-curricular activities. This extra support directly benefits your grandchildren -and may be more important in the long run than ad hoc gifts.
